Its users amount to 636.6 million, making it the world’s largest community online. The program is owned by Ten-cent Holdings Ltd. Since its launching in February 1999, QQ has quickly emerged as a modern cultural phenomenon in China. Besides its cat program, QQ has developed many sub-features as well such as gaming, virtual pets, ringtone downloads, blogging etc.
